About the Event
This talk will explore how the Department of Applied Social Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is reimagining teaching and learning through educational technology. Central to this transformation is the development of Virtual Assistant TIMs (VAT)—a department-developed AI system designed to provide personalized, inclusive, and adaptive learning support, in alignment with flipped classroom pedagogy.
